The Founders

Walter Raquet, former Executive Vice President and Director of Knight/Trimark and Chief Operating Officer of Knight, has 30 years of experience in the securities industry.Mr. Raquet was one of the co-founders of Roundtable and Knight. From 1992 to 1994, he was Senior Vice President with Spear, Leeds & Kellogg/Troster Singer managing their technology and marketing functions. From 1982 to 1992, Mr. Raquet was at Herzog Heine & Geduld, Inc., a trading firm, where he directed the firm’s technology and marketing efforts. Mr. Raquet was also Corporate Controller for Paine Webber, Incorporated between 1980 and 1982. He was Executive Vice President of Cantor Fitzgerald from 1977 to 1980 and Controller for Weeden & Co. from 1968 to 1976. He is a CPA and practiced at the accounting firm of Price Waterhouse. Mr. Raquet received a B.S. Degree in accounting from New York University in 1966. Walter Raquet serves on the Board of Directors of Crossmatch, Inc. (a bio-metric technology company).

Marshall Caro has over thirty-five years experience in the design, development, deployment and ongoing operation and support of computer systems servicing a wide range of businesses and business processes. From 1992 to 1997, he was Managing Director with Cantor Fitzgerald Securities, in charge of Computer Systems development and operations worldwide. From 1978 to 1992, Mr. Caro ran his own business, Programit, a company specialized in servicing the Wall Street and London business communities. Some of the companies serviced by Programit were: Goldman Sachs, Dean Witter Reynolds, Bernard L. Madoff, Tullet & Tokyo Forex, Co.,Sumitomo Bank, Shearson Lehman Brothers, European American Bank, Cantor Fitzgerald, Bank of Tokyo, Chase Manhattan Bank and Merrill Lynch Treasury Systems. Mr. Caro held the position of Systems Programmer-Analyst with Axicom Systems, AGS Computers and Computer Communications, Inc. from 1970 to 1977. Mr. Caro received a B.S. Degree in Physics in 1970 and an M.S. Degree in Computer Science in 1972 from New York University.
